Application:

This alginate impression material can be used in both dental offices and dental laboratories for taking impressions of teeth, gums, and other oral structures.

In the dental office, it is used to take impressions that are then used to fabricate dental prosthetics like crowns, bridges, dentures, etc.
In the dental laboratory, the impressions taken with this material are used to create physical models of the patient’s oral anatomy, which are then used for various dental procedures and fabrication of restorations.

Operation Procedure:

The powder and water are mixed in the recommended ratio, typically around 20ml water to 10g powder.
The mixed alginate is loaded into an impression tray and quickly inserted into the patient’s mouth.
It sets and hardens within a short time, capturing the detailed impression of the oral structures.
The set impression is then removed from the patient’s mouth and sent to the dental laboratory for further processing and fabrication of the needed dental prosthetic.
