Cobalt Chromium Dental Alloy
Cobalt-Chromium Dental Alloy is a corrosion-free biocompatible dental alloy used widely in the dental laboratory fabrication process.
The alloy is beryllium-free and fulfills the qualities of dental alloy defined by ISO22674, for ceramic restoration.
Have low firing temperature with excellent porcelain bonding qualities.
Easy handling and manipulation in the dental laboratory.
Cobalt-Chromium Dental Alloy doesn’t soluble in the oral fluids and resists corrosion due to the high amount of chrome and molybdenum
Shows fast melting with the torch melting techniques, as there is no splattering when melted
Easy laser welding of alloy and there is no cooling required after firing process.
Usage
Cobalt-Chromium Dental Alloy is used in the fabrication of dental restorations, dental prosthesis bases, dental prosthesis framework, inlays and Onlays, and other metal restoration.
Advantage cobalt chrome alloy in dentistry
1.Very good porcelain bonding qualities – even after multiple firing
2.Particularly easy handling due to considerably reduced hardness
3.Beryllium-free, biocompatible
4.Orally stable and corrosion resistant due to a high amount of chrome and molybdenum
5.Fast and easy to melt
6.Especially for torch melting techniques, as there is no splattering when melted
7.No slow cooling required when firing porcelain
8.Excellent for laser welding
